Recently I bought some South African boerewors. It was overloaded with gristle and unedible. I rang the next day to make them aware and the gentleman I spoke with was defensive and extremely rude. I told him it was not a good representation of the product. He tried to wave it off due to the drought and having to compromise and when I told him it doesn't excuse using excess gristle and still charging the same price he started shouting, demanding what I did for a living. I refused to answer and he practically hung up on me. I will never grace them with my custom again.
Majority of the stuff I've bought is great but recently bought beef ribs and really think they'd been a little too close for my liking to go off! Staff are hit and miss with how they speak to customers but overall 7/10
My mother bought sweet chilli chicken tenders for us yesterday for dinner, we cooked them last night only to cut into one and find green meat that was oozing. Absolutely disgusting. Was a good $30 of meat wasted. Took a photo in today to show them and ask for a refund only to be told “it happens sometimes” and that we would not be getting our money back. Absolutely despicable customer service.
